Tad
Shackles was born in a small town about 30 miles south of Seattle, Washington.
Tad was not born with a microphone in his hand, however. He suffered from terminal stage fright all the way up to his late teens. It wasn’t until he became a nightclub DJ that he began to shed his insecurities and speak his mind on a nightly basis. As his popularity grew, he began receiving better offers from bigger clubs all over northern California. It seemed the bigger the crowd
the better he performed in front of them. |

As years passed,
Tad was one of the “must have” DJ’s for any club, wedding, school function, or private/corporate event. This reputation he was garnering was not just as a musical entertainer but as a first class MC. The next logical step was radio. The rest, as they say, is history… |

Tad accepts generous offer from Nor-Cal Top 40/CHR Rythmic herritage station, Power 94 (KEWB Redding) as the new Morning Show Host reclaiming the alias that made him who he is, Tad Shackles.
12/10/08
Tad takes the station hostage by bribing the promotions department and setting up the mobile studio in the Power 94 Jeep at a local car lot and refused to leave until he filled the Jeep with toys that he wanted to give to Toys For Tots. The Jeep was overflowing after 10 hours of live broadcast.

Tad has been hired on with results radio in Chico, Ca.
and given his own morning show on 106.7 Z-Rock. He
has also taken on a new alias, he is now known as BJ In The Morning. Tune in from 6 - 10 weekday mornings! streaming live online soon!!!

Legendary CHR-POP station Colors 92-7 (KLRS 92.7 Chico) flips to Bob FM. Staff released in the change include PD, Eric Brown and Morning Show Host/APD, Tad Shackles.
